State of the Church Address

The new year seems to have started with as much chaos, confusion and division as the last one ended with, but all is not as it appears. A great transformation in the hearts of believers, and within individuals all over the United States and around the world, is underway! It is understood that prophecy is previous and is partial. We do not always understand the "how" or the timing, but there is no question that the sovereign, good plans of God are moving forward. He is looking for the ones who will partner with Him - no special qualifications required, just a big "Yes!" in our hearts! The following words were received in late 2019 and early 2020. The seeds of His promises are now stirring and activating. Much activity takes place deep in the soil before the first shoot is ever seen. Take heart, He has overcome the world and the miraculous is already happening!

Watch in Wonder

The following are words I have received over the course of the last 8 months. The Lord is pouring out His assurance that He has matters well in hand. He began with His promises in Isaiah 43:1b-3a,

“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior."

The Lord makes it clear that we will experience difficulties but He also promises to not leave us there or let them destroy us. This was followed by additional encouragement and specific words of instruction to the Church in America.

The King is Calling His Essential Workers

A year ago, as my husband and I closed out 2019 with an evening of prayer and worship, the Lord released a powerful word. I did not realize at the time that He was revealing both the problem and the solution that was ahead of us in 2020. Only as the year unfolded did this word begin to make more sense. I am sharing this as we close out 2020 to give testimony to the One who sees the end from the beginning and faithfully goes before us preparing the way and providing everything we need. The word began with a visual. In my spirit I saw a large snake - it had all the markings of a boa constrictor. It was as if I was above the earth and I could see it slithering all throughout the United States. The vision persisted for quite some time with the snake moving steadily throughout the nation and appearing to grow in size. I asked the Lord what He was revealing and I received the following:

A People of Resolute Faith

The world has experienced much turmoil and chaos throughout 2020 and it appears to be ending the same way it began, at least in the natural. But for those of us who have received Jesus Christ as our Savior and believe in God Almighty - the Creator, Sustainer and Lord of all that exists - we are commissioned to live and walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). There is a 24/7 onslaught of information being released to distract and discourage the Church. The intent is to paralyze her in fear and confusion causing her to give up hope that the purposes and  goodness of God's Kingdom will be released in the earth. More than a resolution to a plague or an election, (both of which God can bring about in an instant), the Lord is looking for a people of resolute faith.  Faith is the substance of things hoped for and it is a priceless treasure (Hebrews 11:1, 1 Peter 1:6-7). We must not give it away or let it be stolen from us. In the next several posts, I will be releasing words I have received over a period of years with the intent of shoring up our faith. We begin with a word released nine years ago that has significant application to our times today.

Psalm 37 - Finishing 2020 With Confident Hope

Shortly before the start of 2020, the Lord placed Psalm 37 on my heart as a passage of scripture to press into and lean upon in the year ahead. I sensed in my spirit that, somehow, this was going to be instrumental in helping us navigate the year, and season, ahead of us. I had no idea.
