God's Covenants Stand Firm

In the previous post, I stated that God's purposes and plans for His Church, (and the United States), are still in place and that He has not broken or changed His mind regarding the covenants He has established with us. Today, I want to share some words of encouragement regarding His steadfast faithfulness to us.

We know God established a New Covenant, available to all who will receive, through His son Jesus Christ:

"That is why he is the one who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant." (Hebrews 9:15. NLT)

We also know of the great promises God has given to never leave or forsake us, to be with us to the end of the age and to confirm us to the end (Deut. 31:8, Matt. 28:19-20, 1 Cor. 1:8). He has not changed His mind - He is still with us and for us! I received the following words of affirmation in late September of this year:

"Stop berating My Church. My Bride is beautiful in My eyes and is completing new purification and beauty treatments. She is about to rise and shine! When she steps into the room, she will captivate the attention of all who are present, re-presenting Me in joy and splendor! I am wooing her into My presence to strengthen her so she can carry the weight of My glory in honor and grace to all the earth. I am preparing her for her finest hour yet! She will go forth in peace and be radiant with joy!”

The Lord is not finished with His Church or the plans and purposes He has established for us. The Great Commission is still our mission and He is getting us ready for the greatest outpouring of His Spirit the earth has ever seen! The fields have ripened in 2020 and we are being prepared for the work of harvest and of discipling nations.

This aligns with the covenant, purpose and plan for the United States. In April 1607, the expedition led by Rev. Robert Hunt landed at Cape Henry. After three days of prayer and fasting on the ship, they stepped onto the shore, erected the seven foot wooden cross they had brought from England, and Robert Hunt released the following words establishing this land in covenant with God:

"We do hereby dedicate this land and ourselves to reach the people within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to raise up godly generations after us and, with these generations, take the Kingdom of God to all the earth.

May this covenant of dedication remain to all generations as long as this earth remains. And may this land, along with England, be evangelist to the world. May all who see this cross remember what we have done here and may those who come here to inhabit, join us in this covenant and in this most noble work that the Holy Scriptures may be fulfilled."

(1607 Covenant)

April 30, 2020 was the 413th anniversary of the prophetic prayer that established this nation in covenant with God for the purpose of sowing the Gospel and reaping a harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God. We are reminded that the purpose of the freedom and prosperity we have been blessed with in the United States is to enable us to share with the world the true freedom and riches found only in Jesus Christ.

We are promised in Luke 12 that, as we seek the things (the purposes) of God's Kingdom, all the practical needs we have in this life will be given to us. What's more, our Father assures us that it is His good pleasure to give us the Kingdom! The Lord goes on to tell us that, as we seek His matters above all else, we will store up an inexhaustible treasure in heaven. I wondered what an "inexhaustible treasure" meant so I looked it up in Strong's Concordance and found it to translate to:

Anekleiptos - "unfailing, not left behind, will not give out or fail to perform"

This word happens to be Strong's Number 413! Coincidence that this surfaced in the 413th year after God established covenant with this land? Not likely! God's Word stands firm. He will not fail in performing His part of the covenant or leave us behind. The Church will awaken. We will remember and learn and we will not fail Him or leave our covenant with Him behind. We will turn towards Him and enter into the fullness of His purposes for this nation and His Kingdom!

Moses said, ‘Please. Let me see your Glory.’ God said, ‘I will make my Goodness pass right in front of you; I’ll call out the name, God, right before you.’” (Ex 33:18-19a)

Let the whole earth be filled with His glory!
